Staff - Pastoral Staff

Pastor Jim Jett is a Chicago area native. He received a BA degree in Bible from Bob Jones University and a Master of Ministry degree from Bob Jones Seminary.  Pastor Jett has been in full time ministry as either an assistant or senior pastor for over 30 years, and has been at South Side since October, 2001.  His wife Debbie is his co-worker in the ministry they have been married since 1975 and have 2 children and four grandchildren.  

Pastor Gabe serves as our Assistant Pastor. He ministers specifically to the teens and their parents. He also serves in the ministry of South Side Baptist School as our Secondary Music Teacher and our Computer Systems Administrator. He has been married to Jessica since 2004. She also serves in the school as the 5th grade teacher. She can usually be found playing the piano in church or making food for our teen activities. The Forsters both graduated from Maranatha Baptist Bible College and are happy to be serving the Lord at South Side.
